Girl says we shouldn't see each other anymore randomly? HELP Text inside

Ok, so pretty much I've been seeing this girl for a week. We really hit it off, we hung out everyday together. I took it really slow, and was respectful. (only kissed). Had good dates, everything went GREAT. Watched movies each night and cuddled. She was definitely into me.

I found out a little about her past, and her last relationship. Her longest was with someone who was physically and mentally abusive. Got her into some drugs. etc. Its been 10months since that relationship. She's working two jobs right now, and can barely afford to pay rent. Been kicked out of her parents house, they won't pay for anything right now.

Went to dinner and a movie last night. Had a lot of fun.

I woke up this morning with this text:

HER: "I don't think we should see each other anymore"

ME: "Really, How come?"

HER: I can't have a relationship with anyone right now, I told you I can't commit and don't want to hurt you"

HER: "Im going through a bunch of **** right now and I don't need to put you through it. I think its not a good idea to be with you right now"

HER: "im sorry, I really am..I'm just not well right now."

ME: " Well this was random. There anyway you want to make this work? I tried my best to take things as slow as possible with you becasue I knew what you were going through and really liked you.. I thought I could be the guy to help stear you in the right direction, but I guess I ****ed things up"

HER: "No you didn't **** up, I just don't think you could handle someone unstable like me, I do like you, I'm just scared to death of relationships right now"

ME: "Seriously pushing people away due to past relationship is ridiculous. I know the timing sucks, and like I said I'm willing to go slow and work with you, but if that's what you really want I got no problem letting you go."

After that I didn't get a response. I really fell for this girl, and thought things would work out. Do you think shell be back? or should I keep trying? Give it some time? I'm pretty mad at myself, I keep thinking I did something wrong. Does that text mean she doesn't like me? She never said anything about just being friends or anything, and everything said "right now"...?

Just be there to support her. Don't push the relationship idea. And if you're really into her, and you really care about her, just be around and show her you're not just about to leave her in a snap. She's at a vulnerable time right now. Last thing she would want is to be hurt again soon. She may just be pushing you away to protect herself. But that reaction shows you have somehow snuck into a hole of the wall she has built up.

I can't speak for her, but when I read your post, she and I may be in the same situation. I just came from a break-up that hurt me really badly, and now a guy is pursuing me. I appreciate his presence, but at the same time I am afraid he might just hurt me too. But still at the back of my mind, I wish he won't give up until I am completely over the guy who broke my heart, and am ready for a new one.

It may seem selfish of me. But do need the support and help to get over the pain of a recent heartache.

But try to see also if there is a chance that she would open up to you. If there is none, then you might as well move on yourself.

No no no listen just tell her you understand what she is going through and that you want to b there to help her through it and go slow

Well, that is a better message than the first you sent her.

I got no text for you though. It should come from yourself, so it would come out more sincerely. All I can say is, just make her feel that you really are there for her, and not just say it. Do something to show this. Your actions will speak more clearly. Accompany your reassuring words with fortifying actions.

Your words will let her know, but your actions will prove it.

Well I texted her this: What do you think? She responded, I duno what to take from it.

ME: "Hey Sarah, I was thinking about what the texts I sent to you and it was f***ed up to try and push you into something you didn't want. You are going through alo of sh*t, if ya need anything just let me know. Feel free to hit me up sometime...ttyl"

HER: "That really means a lot to me. I didn't mean to push you out of my life completely I'm sorry for that :) but thank you I appreciate it.
