We tickle...we flirt... but we also like to mess with each others head. So, I don't know if he knows I like him.

Almost all of my guy friends usually do not hang out with a girl 1 v. 1 "all" the time unless he's somehow interested in the girl. I'm curious: How many of you guys will hang out with a girl platonically with whom you have no mutual friends.

This sounds stupid right now but if you are sure he likes you I think it would work ok here it is if you and him are alone just doing casual stuff nothing busy ask him "what would you do if I said I like you?" and if he asks a question maybe something like "well do you like me" tell him you asked first after if he answers that with I don't know or doesn't come to a conclusion you don't drop the subject give him a couple days to think on that if he has been really thinking he will come to a conclusion that he wouldn't care if he didn't like you then I think it would be safe for you to tell him you like him and whenever you want and that might even get him to fall in love with you if he didn't before or more in love with you if he did because it has worked on me so that's just a suggestion but when he replies to your question with something that you would want to hear like him saying "well I like you back" you can say whatever you want.

Start moving in on his personal bubble. Guys tend to physically distance themselves more than girls (other than with established girlfriends), so adding some intentional physical contact like holding his arm, sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, or even (especially) a back massage will at the very least start turning the wheels in his head.

It sounds like you've got things under control as it is. When you come to a good, quiet moment, tell him something as simple as "I like you." It's already assumed that you like him as a friend, so naturally he'll assume you mean something deeper, or else you wouldn't have mentioned it. If he doesn't quite pick up on it, repeat it with more inflection, as in, "No I mean, I LIKE you."

I may or may not have been in a similar circumstance with a friend that became a girlfriend. I'm not a subtle guy, so I just said it and it worked.

But I had already told him once before (at the time he just started dating someone else.)

You have to just tell him how you feel, sometimes when we think they are catching all the obvious signs they really aren't.

I really can't think of any other way unless you just keep flirting and wait till he says something..but then maybe he is waiting for you to say something and neither of you says anything and then nothing will happen :/

Well one day out of the blue he just randomly told me that he doesn't want to get a gf/date until he gets a job since he likes to go do things with his girl. Is that an indirect way of telling me he will want to date later just not now? or a nice way to turn me down now.

It's kind of hard to tell, but he has a good reason for wanting to wait.

You won't know until he finally gets a job and see if he brings up the subject.

When I told my friend he said he was flattered and would return the feelings if he wasn't dating someone else. He could have just been being nice or just hasn't brought up the subject because he JUST broke up with her a few weeks ago.

I dunno, I used to theorize that I wanted a job before a girlfriend for the same reason, but that was back in high school. The good thing is that he's showing that he's interested in having a girlfriend, enough to be doting and supportive. That, and being jobless is a much more immediate problem for him. Just keep hanging out alone to show that being together doesn't cost anything, watch old DVDs, etc.

guys don't think about things how girls do.. if a guys bumps into you and you like him you are left thinking about it but if you bump into him he says hey and keeps going..

just tell him why hint you're not 16 and I hate when a woman has feeling but not enough to say sh*t he can't read you're mind but he might feel the same way so you have nothing to loose only gain wish you the best being upfront is the best way to go in my opion

He likes you. I was in this exact situation. My neighbor and I hungout like everyday and talked all the time and I really liked him, but I wasn't sure if he felt the same way so I texted him and said "What would you do if I said I wanted to be more then friends." And now were going out :) Just ask a like question, nothing pushy.

If he is dating someone else, give it time. When you see it is over, make sure he knows how you feel. Don't rush it or press, unless you think he is about to get serious. Then you have to do a hail mary pass (put it out there and pray he catches on).
