I had a massive crush on this white guy for a month now and he is insanely cute. He has a wonderful personality, smart, funny and intelligent. I'm a black girl and so what? Anyways he's 6'0" and I'm 5'10 so I think we make a lovely couple. We've talked before before not much but he doesn't seem interested in me like I'm interested in him. So yesterday as I was about to ask him out, I over heard him saying to his friends that he prefers petite girls and he's not attracted to taller girls. He didn't mentioned me in it but it broke my heart that he don't like taller girls. My crush likes petite women. Every crush I had likes shorter girls. No fair. :(

Well most of the time guys say that like a certain thing, but then they end up being with someone with a different trait which they'll like, he can't just say I like petite women becuz Im pretty sure he'll end up being attracted to a taller girl, which can happen to u. Anyone can say oh i like tall guys and end up with a shorter one and still liking it. Maybe he meant that she should be shorter than him and u are lol.

Yeah definitely its worth a try, lots of guys like taller girls, he's probably not matured enough to realize that, I don't know why guys like shorter girls they're own taste, but most guys ik love taller girls.

If that doesn't work I would advise you to move on, you'll eventually crush on someone else, even though its not fun, it gives you closure and allows you to continue living your life.

I'm sorry that you don't seem to be his type, but rest assured, a LOT of guys love tall girls! Just the other day a female friend of mine was rejected for being too short, and said that every guy she goes for, chooses a tall girl with long legs. It's the way life is. We ALL experience not being the type our crush prefers at one time or another.

by the way, there is a reason models are tall. Tall is gorgeous and beautiful and as a 6'5 guy, I'd NEVER date a shortie :P
