What does it mean when a guy gives you his jacket?

We were walking and talking together. He is one of my guy friends. He tried to give me his jacket but I told him no thanks. He said that I looked cold but I told him that I wasn't. ( This is Florida and almost spring time). He basically forced me to take it so I ended up taking it. I wore it all the next day and when I tried to return it to him but he told me to keep it. It's been almost a week since I had it now.

Maybe that guy likes you? It's likely. That's why he want to give you his jacket.
- He cares about you, so he don't want you to feel cold.
- Also, he likes the fact of knowing you are wearing something which belongs to him or that you are keeping it.
- Then, when he gets it back, it will have your smell so he will never wash it again lol and he will be laying on his bed, holding his jacket while thinking of you. :3

He thinks you need a new jacket. I don't know, there's lots of reasons he could do this :) he could have a crush on you and likes seeing you in his jacket because it gives him a sense of control maybe. Or he could just be giving you a jacket because you needed one. :D
