We ended on bad terms. I still have feelings but she's moved on. No communication whatsoever. What do I do ?

Its been several months since we've talked last. The last time we talked she threw her new boyfriend in my face leaving scars that should have been healed by now but aren't. Sadly, I still admit to having feelings for her and thinking about her throughout most of my day. 2 years down the drain but I guess, such is life. I am a man of action and a full fledged romantic so I tend to think that I should find any way possible to get her back but everybody keeps telling me, don't talk to her, don't get in touch with her, act completely indifferent.

That is what I've been doing for the past 3 months and nothing has happened. No call, no e-mail, not even a happy thanksgiving text.

Women around here really don't compare to her, at least the ones I've encountered. I really don't know what to do ... :(. I really miss her, she was my best friend.

Please, any constructive advice is appreciated.

..My friend was going through the same situation..and fortunately its actually faded away.2yrs of nice moments,times and happy memories with a very very very gorgeous and most beautiful "Girl"! to my eyes..we spoke of getting married,spoke of kids and yes I too am a full fledged romantic person..lol and still down the drain!..2 months ago & no contact what so ever not even for my 24th b-day..I feel you brother..Its fuken hard!..But YOU HAVE to give yourself the place as a strong Man!.You can't give in!.You'll look so weak & Women don't like pussies..this girl you speak of is only a "Girl!"..A Heartless immature "Girl!".that doesn't appreciate shiit..Don't look for her..If she loves you its up to her..But why would you want to be with her?.You can't trust her!.It could never be the same..sure you'll think of her..but it'll go away..this as strong as a feeling it might of been was NOT love..Leave it alone..You'll laugh about it later when the right "Women" comes along & appreciates you and treats you right. You are misusing your imagination and fantasizing a lot. How can you be in love with a woman who mistreated you? Clearly you are imagining her to be what she is not. Come down to earth! She is a bitch!

You say that the other women around do not compare with her. In what way? Do you mean that they are treating you nice and not like her?

You are not in love. You are in love with some image of her. You are in love with the concep of love. Do you seriously mean that if she came bck to you and continued mistreating you it will really make you happy?

I'd say let her know how you feel. If you get no response then you have your answer and then move on. If you get answer and its not what you want then move on. I'm not sure how she will respond considering you said she had moved on.

I know that moving on is easier said then done. It will take time of course but just take it one day at a time. Maybe in time she will come back but not right now as you said she has moved on. Try not to dwell on it. Move on and if she comes back she comes back but if she doesn't then remember what you had and live your life. I know that it sucks. I've been where you are. My advice is to move on. You'll never forget her nor should you but in time the hurt lessens. Just live your life. Sorry I'm not more help.

How long were you two together for? Who broke up with whom? If you want to get back together with her, why not trying to build up a good friendship with her again and then maybe down the road you two might have a future together again... I dunno, just my opinion. :) Good luck!

I feel really embarrassed. Long story short, I found out she cheated on me and still continued to see this person until she found out she was like girl number 4 or 5 on the rotation. We tried to make it work and I thought we were doing okay until I was left for somebody from work.

Ah. In that case, you can do better. You're putting her on a pedestal where she doesn't belong. For her to cheat on you and then leave you for someone else displays someone who is untrustworthy, dishonest, uncaring, etc. There are plenty of women out there who are much better than that.

I suggest getting out more. I know what you mean when you say "other woman don't compare". I feel the same way about my ex, but the truth may be that we're blinded by love right now.

I completely agree but my brain and my heart are at blows so to speak. I've been going out non stop actually, almost every night and I am just finding nothing but superficial women. I'm not looking to make out or hook up, I'm looking for a nice date and it almost seems like its too much to ask.

As far as time, it has been almost 3 months, and about 2 months of no contact. It just makes me sad, especially around this time right now.
