i've liked the same guy off and on since 9th grade now that we're seniors we talk all the time now but I don't know should i give up or continue liking him and see where things lead?

It's alright if you're not hurting inside and depends on the person. Some people are worth it. So far I crushed only on two girls. First was for 5 years and it didn't end until I got my current crush. That's another 3 years. Those first 5 years were wasted because it was totally puppy love, nonsense. Current one is worth to wait.

I first had a crush on my girlfriend ten years ago. We both dated other people, and I got my chance just about two years ago. What I'm saying is after 8 years that crush payed out and we've been together about two years. Just because life goes on doesn't mean you can't still be romantically interested in someone.
