This girl that shows interest never text me first should I be concerned?

I started hanging out with this girl back about 5 months ago, we went out bowling with friends. First night she was very touchy rubbing my hands, asking for hugs, and talking about feeling my abs. Few weeks later after work she texted me out of the blue told me to take this online quiz then asked me how day was. We text for about 2 hours. We hung out a few times these past months and I have texted her a few times. Every time I have texted her she always responds and is very responsive, interactive, with a lot of emojis, etc. I have invited her out a few times and she responds saying of course I will be there, along those lines. Last time I texted her out it was a group text and said that anybody can bring someone along if they want and she responds saying you are already coming with a smiley face emoji. We go out have a great time, had her laughing all night. Recenlty I have been texting her more and asked her in person if I was texting her too much, texting at a bad time. She cuts me off and says "what?, No!, No!." Then gives me a big bear hug that lingers for a few seconds. My question is though that I have been the one always texting her for the past couple of months, she only texted me that one time in the beginning when we first started to know each other. Is that a concern? When I see her in person she acts very bubbly, flirty, and touchy toward me. Rubbing my head when I got a new haircut, touching my arms, hands, talking about feeling my abs when hugging me, etc. But has never texted me first since 5 months ago and I always text her first. Once I initiate the text she will talk for a while. Is this a problem I should look out for? I would like a text first everyone in a while lol.

She likes you man, I have no doubt about it! But girls usually like when guys take the first step. It's her way to know that you are still interested in her. The only problem you should want to avoid is getting her to take you for granted. Since you always start the conversation, she feels no need to text you first. Now, you can "play" a bit with this. Try stop texting her for a few days and see if there is any significant reaction from her. She will wonder why you're not texting as usual. "Is he not interested anymore? Did something happen?" she'll think. If she truly likes you, she will text you asking what's going on. This way you will know for sure that this girl is into you. You should only be concerned if she doesn't say anything for a week or two. In that case she's not interested in you in the same way you are in her.

Even if she likes it when you take the first step, when she notices that you stopped doing it this will make her reach out to you. So try it, you've got nothing to lose! I did it a few times with my now girlfriend of 1 year. This way I kept her interested in me, since I wasn't so easy to get. :)

Thanks but the problem is not if she makes up excuses to not hang out with me. Anytime I invite her to something she says she will be there or of course she will be there. I don't have a problem with that. She has shown she does like me or has some type of thing for me. I am most concerned as to why she never text me first, only in the beginning. Does she just want me to always take the first step?

I understood the problem, I think the BP rule applies here. However if you'd like me to speculate on the motives of a woman I don't know, I would say yes. Women in general are the laziest of all creatures when it comes to this sort of thing. She just wants to be chased. However if it goes on for quite some time it may indicate she's begun to take you for granted.

Well, i usually don't start texting anyone first, even the one i am interested in and care about the most, for me, i love how texting first shows that someone is caring enough to start a conversation with me, so whenever they do it, i talk with no stop, i don't feel comfortable when i text first actually.
To sum this up i want to say that there's no problems at all in your situation, and just because she stopped texting you first, doesn't mean that she doesn't like you and obviously she likes you a lot.

If she likes you, she expects you to text her first. If she texts you first from my experience that means she wants to talk to you for some reason.
