My boyfriend won't stop checking out girls in front of me, does this mean he finds the other girl prettier?

I am so upset right now and my self-esteem is at an all time low. My boyfriend of one year will not stop checking out girls in front of me and it is hurting me so much. He keeps promising to never do it again and then he does it again like the next day. I feel so unattractive and ugly when a lot of people tell me I'm beautiful. These girls that he looks at, does he find them more attractive then I? Does he think they are hotter, is that why he can't help but to look at them? He tells me he thinks I'm the most beautiful physically in his eyes, but this can't be true if he can't keep his eyes off of other girls in front of me. Guys, so what is it, does he think these girls are hotter then me?

I'll admit that my eyes wander, but it doesn't mean my heart does.

It's a probability that he finds them appealing visually; but think about it... Is your boyfriend the type to cheat on you with another women? <-- Here's a question that'll make you think, and two answers courteousy of me:

- If you say "I doubt he would cheat on me" - Good.. So then that would mean he would leave you before he cheats on you.. Good I like hearing that, but *DING DING DING*.. Wake up call chica ;)... He hasn't left you! Infact he probably adores you, but he probably dreads the insecurity your showing.. More on that later.

- If you say "Yeah he would" - It's time to move on.. If your boyfriend is running around with other women, why would you wanna be with him? Loyalty is the only thing I ask for in a relationship.. If that's the case and your still with him, you need to build your standards a little.

You're friends already tell you that you're beautiful.

The only problem I'm seeing, is that your boy can't keep his eyes on you (natural habbit) and he makes promises he can't keep. Other than that, there really isn't a problem from what I can see or understand.

At this point, you've got two options:

1) Work with it and see if you can "train him" on how not to look at other women

2) Appreciate the fact that he finds other women attractive, but he is with you and that you beat those attractive women to the chase.

He's in a relationship not dead. He can look aslong as he doesn't touch he's only human. I'm sure you look at other guys. Do something to boost your self-esteem. If he didn't think you were the most beautiful he wouldn't be with you. He would find someone he likes better. Being insecure will drive him away faster than another pretty face would.

I mean I love the girl I am with but I still think there are hotter girls out there. She is very cute, sexy, and hot in my opinion and she is everything to me but there are always hotter women in the world. Hopefully the reason he is looking at other women is because maybe he is just fantasizing about them, but if he's still with you there are many more reasons then beauty for why he loves you.
