Should it bother me that my girlfriend doesn't tell people she has a boyfriend?

You see it bothers me that my girlfriend doesn't tell guys that are hitting on her that she's already read taken, sure she will deny them and tell me about it when we talk but I just notice she never tells the guys (mainly the customers at her work) who hit on her that she already has a boyfriend... Should it bother me?

btw its not like she keeps me secret or anything, everyone she knows her knows she has a boyfriend but it just bothers me that she doesn't tell customers that she denies that she has a bf

If its just with customers, not your family or friends, you definitely shouldn't worry about this too much!

I work in a pharmacy and I get really old men hitting on me and flirting with me from time to time, I think its just kind of a guy thing (which they're never too old for apparently!) to flirt a bit a pretty girl, and if you say its only with customers at her work, then I'm guessing she probably works in the retail or service industry, where its really important to always be happy, friendly and yeah maybe a little flirty if it helps you get more tips or improves the reputation of the business.

I am sure these guys don't really mean for it to go anywhere either (maybe they have girlfriends/wives themselves?), its just a bit of a fun and sociable thing, I mean, us girls certainly don't mind flirting with a cute waiter or bartender either. Its probably much more impractical and awkward to tell someone "Uh hell no, I actually have a boyfriend/girlfriend" than it is to just smile and get on with your work.

If she's really getting harassed or feels uncomfortable at work, then she should take it up with her boss, otherwise it's not really a big deal and no reason for you to feel jealous or betrayed, she's still your girl!

Well they are just customers...who she may never see again and even if she ever sees them again it will be nothing more than an employee customer relationship...that being said it is not necessary to divulge that information to a customer even if he asks for her number all she has to do is turn him down...So you should not be worried...she probably just doesn't say because they are customers and its none of their business...

Two possibilities:One ,it's just her way to reject ppl.Just say "im not interested" instead of"i have a bf". Two, in case she meets some hot guy and she doesn't wanna completely shut the door.

U should tell her how you feel and have a talk about this.

i don't think it should bother you much I work around this all the time by working in a restraunt she could just flirt to get more money however when she denies to introduce you to someone as you being the boyfriend then you should start worrying

talk to her about it and she should ideally stop that.

if she's saying she doesn't have a boyfriend that's a problem

if she doesn't say she has a boyfriend but otherwise lets them know she's not interested then its not an issue
