Does ignoring her make her flirt even more?

About 3 months ago a girl started to flirt with me. I started to flirt back and then I asked if she would like to get together but she stated that she was dating someone. I quit flirting with her but she really started to flirt even more. I told her that I was not interested since she was not willing to get together. She stopped flirting but started again and I just ignore her. By ignoring her am I actually making her flirt with me even more? What should I do because I really like her but tired of rejection?

Yes, if a girl wants attention and she is hell-bent on getting it your ignoring her will only make her try harder to get it.

But she sounds really desperate. So DON'T go for it!

I'm only stating this because she's already in a committed relationship and you don't want to jeopardize that- it can only bring trouble.

Just think: If she's doing this to her current boyfriend she will most definently do it to you too.

Sorry to say, sweetie, but some girls just thrive on attention. They get bored very easily. And you can never please them.

You don't want to start off a relationship that's already doomed to have horrible complications.

You are not special to her. Just a way to pass the time. So move on. . .

You're better off just ignoring her.

it does for me, that doesn't mean its the right thing to do though! it p*sses girls off and makes them gossip about the guy but it does work. because it makes us feel like we have competion so we try harder... for me it went on like this for 2 years with the same guy who would just refuse talking to me and being nice. but I'm not saying to ignore the girl, it makes us cry and get angry and worried. if you are interested in her let her know!
