Is it unfair to always want undivided attention from my boyfriend?

Sometimes when I go to his place, he wants to play video games by himself or surf the web or just be doing something else while I'm talking to him. I always complain and tell him that Id like him to just focus only on me for a bit. Is that too much to ask?

You got to keep in mind that guys need space. Its worst when you call, because its really easy to say yup, and yeah while playing video games. Just talk to him and tell him that you want the time you spend together to be about things you both can do while keeping in mind that he has is own space and time to do what he wants to do. So, is it unfair, no, but you have to make sure you have boundaries.

If he invites you over to see him, and ignores you after you show up, that's pretty sh*tty of him. If you show up to his home and expect him to drop everything he's doing to answer to your beck and call, that's pretty selfish of you.

Yes, it is unfair to ALWAYS want undivided attention.

It is fair, however, to expect SOME undivided attention. Don't make yourself so over-available that he takes you for granted.
