He told me to drive safe and to text him once I get home, but he never replied?

I find this guy very fun and attractive.
I had him for a class last semester, and we have hung out and kissed before. Although, I haven't seen him since the semester ended.

He invited me over, and he asked me how I've been. We had a very nice casual conversation. We talked about him coming to my place next time and going out for some drinks or getting some wine next time.
Things ended up getting pretty heated, we tried having sex for the first time, but he didn't have any protection, so i ended up giving him oral. He said I was crazy good at it.
We cuddled and then fell asleep for about an hour then woke up asking what time it was, and he asked me if i was staying the night. Which i assumed I was but I said "um well I guess i can go home," and he said "yeah, im sorry I have to wake up early."

So as he walked me out he gave me a hug and said "thank you for stopping by, please drive safe and text me once you get home."

I was hesitant about texting him once I got home, since i assumed he just said that out of courtesy, but i went right ahead and texted him "I got home safely! Next time i'll definitely bring some wine." He never replied to me and now I feel slightly embarrassed.

What do y'all think about this? He did mention future plans with me, is he into me? Is he trying to playing it off by not replying?
