Do guys only like bubbly, flirty girls?

I am a girl who is more reserved in her personality, and am not a natural flirt at all. At best I'm described as "mysterious," and at worst "standoffish." I think this affects my success with the opposite sex - people always tell me that guys are apparently looking for signals (true?) from women, and that they won't approach otherwise. I have noticed that they tend to go for really bubbly, flirty women, perhaps for that reason? I tend to flirt more by trying to engage a guy's mind and get him thinking, while still giving subtle cues of interest, as I'm not very good at flattery and the touchy-feely stuff; it feels contrived and unnatural for me, but guys seem to lap that up. There's nothing wrong with being bubbly, but what is it about those kinds of girls that guys like so much? Are there any guys out there who would go for a more reserved personality?

I actually find bubbly girls to be rather annoying. Maybe it's because I'm cynical as hell, but I don't trust people who are always happy.

At least where I live (the Midwest), reserved girls are extremely rare, and it drives me absolutely insane. I can't stand vapid girls who won't shut the fuck up about how long the Starbucks line was, or how "totes adorbs" a dress is.

My crush is actually from China. I find her reserved nature very attractive, since it compliments my personality (and reserved girls are rare where I live). I enjoy having intellectual conversations with her, because they're genuinely interesting. She is incredibly smart, and is far from a flirt (she's actually really socially awkward, but so am I). I also find her accent cute (which is weird, since most people hate Chinese accents).

So, to answer your question, not all guys like bubbly girls.

Its true , extrovert people have a better chance at attaracting other sex. Guys are dumb , half of them chicken out and half of them are already with somebody since they are confident talking to people. Be brave and ask the guy for some work/coffee. Strike a conversation and be clear.

Alright, it depends on the guy, but most guys who "like" them, only like them for so long, if you get my drift. People that are bubbly and always happy grind on your nerves, and get really annoying after a long time.
