Lingering High Five? Flirting?

Ok so basically I have liked this guy for a long time and he liked me back. Then he decided to make out with another girl so people forgot about me and him. They focused on him and another girl.

The other day day we were joking around and he asked me for a high five. Then when our hands touched we closed fingers and held it there. For a few minutes I was dying inside.

We did t a few more times that day and then jokingly he said "why do u keep holding my hand".

I think it it was a joke but at the same time was he trying to cover up his feelings?

i swear he was holding my hand and there was chemistry. I also catch him staring at me and flirting all the time. I like it. Help? Does he like me?
