So I was texting my ex today (8 months after break up) and we were having a casual conversation, I told her about some issues with my dad and I ended it with apologizing for sounding whiny (I went on for a long ass time about my dad) and she replied with "it's okay honey", now I'm not an American or a native English speaker so this may be something completely normal and I'm overreacting, but did that mean anything? Is she interested in me or is it just a normal thing to call someone? She's American and we're both single by the way
