Confusion over Cancer guy?

Hi all,

I recently met a typical cancer guy. I really like him and he has told me he likes me too. But he is very mysterious and I feel like he sends me mixed signals. Sometimes he is all over me and other times I feel like I'm one of the guys. We hang out all the time and always have fun. I know he has been very hurt in the past and he has such a shell on. I am wondering what's are some ways to decipher his behavior to tell if he's really into me or if this is going nowhere. Also when we are around his friends he talks about other girls does he do this to make me jealous? I'm so confused! I need advice! P.s. I'm a cancer girl! Thanks :)

He likes you but he's holding himself back because he doesn't want to feel like he's smothering you or that he's putting too much affection into you when he doesn't completely trust you like that yet. Guys truly want a girl that feels like a best friend first when it comes to love. Not saying he loves you right now but cancer men at your age tend to think long-term because it's near settling down time. And he talks about other girls in front of you to test your reaction.

What I've noticed out of most of the astrology signs the guys that wants to settle down the first are cancer men because firstly they get women (they can easily think like us out of all the signs), and secondly they dream of having the white picket fence with kids running around all over the house like a lot of cancer women do. They're just a male version of us at the end of the day just with a little boyish qualities here and there. Age would kind of matter but not really too much..

TEASE YOU, smile towards you, laugh a lot about the stuff you say, get really touchy, stare at you and even get to be protective over you and even a bit stage 2 clingy. Lol yes we are hard to read but usually that's only to other signs go to any astrology forum the posts with the most questions "what does this mean, why did he...,etc. posts are concerning cancer men with scorpio men a close second.

He may be like me, on the Cusp of Oscillation, which for Cancers is only July 22nd and 23rd. One of those isn't his birthday is it?
