I for one very much appreciate when a girl messages me first, it's a way of confirming to me that you're actually truly interest and that means a lot.

A guy will not think you're clingy. I don't know why girls think this lol. Literally say anything that will interest him. I started going out with a girl all because I snapped her about her lemon water. Sounds fucking dumb but it works.
