Should I Snapchat him first?

We've met through mutual friends and have talked a couple of times but nothing too serious. He asked me when I would work and he would come through and order something while I was his cashier. I was going to write my number down on his drink, but I was too scared. Two months passed and I haven't seen him until today. I saw him first and waved. He saw me immediately afterward and his face lit up, and we both went in for a hug. We talked for a few minutes as he had to meet up with someone so I asked for his snapchat, and we both added each other. Then, we said goodbye, and he hugged me again. As of right now, neither of us had sent nor received a snap to each other. Since I asked for his snapchat, should I wait for him to snap first? If not, what should I say and what should the snapchat be about? I'm kinda shy when it comes to talking to someone I'm interested and I haven't had much experience with guys before.

Tbh i just read the question but ya if you are asking if you shpuld take the first step go for it. I once saw a pic tjat said a guy would gp out. with a tree if it asked him first. And everyone pretty much agreed with it.
