My crush randomly added me on snapchat?

So me and this girl kinda have a weird history. We first started talking in 8th grade, having small little conversations here and there. When I realized that I kinda had a thing for her, I started messaging her on instagram (she would reply to my messages with short little 2-3 word answers, so I kinda knew she wasn't interested) I eventually ended up asking her out and she said she was sorry but she "didn't want to hurt anyone". We didn't really talk after that, school ended, we didn't talk to each other all summer. Now we are in high school and we have a class together. We have been assigned in the same groups for projects multiple times now and whenever we talk, she is pretty friendly towards me and I guess just acts like it never happened. At this point I thought all this was pretty normal, she just wants to move past this and let bygones be bygones. She had asked for my number for a group chat that our project group uses, but she never messaged me privately so I knew it was just for the group. Then just a few days ago, she randomly adds me on snapchat, which caught me off guard. She never asked me what my snapchat was or if she could add me which was what made it weird. I never told her or her friends that I even HAD a snapchat, which means she must have been looking for it. I noticed that every time I add something to my story, she looks at it but she never adds anything to her own story. She added me about 4-5 days ago and has not sent me a snap. Should I snap her first? Do you think she is interested now, or is she just being friendly? Am I making this bigger than it actually is?
