Why are "tomboy" women rejected?

I'm a tomboy and I want to know why my appearance is so problematic, if I'm happy with it.

Do you mean butch (short hair, masculine dress, masculine attitude, completely independent) or do you mean girl with long hair in a sports jersey that still retains her femininity while also enjoying athletic interests?

I mean long hair, but wearing hoodies, pants, no make-up, no earrings and no heels

Well you have to think of it from their perspective. Would you want to date a guy who dressed girly or acted girly? I know because I am tomboy so you should try to at least look more feminine or behave more girly for a guy you like. they might notice you more.

Maybe it is the way you act or dress? I mainly enjoy the same activities as my brothers and I am usually jist as direct as them, but that is where it stops for me tomboy wise
