My crush is in hospital!?

The girl I like was admitted into hospital because of some nasty problem with her eye. I was wondering if I should pay her a visit with some flowers and a "Get Well" card or whether I'll come off as being a little creepy.

A little background: I know her from college; we get along pretty well and I take her out for coffee every now and then.

Hey guys and girls; thanks for all your input.

Today, I decided to go visit her at the hospital. I bought her a small bunch of purple tulips (because purple's her favorite color) and a nice card. Her response? I think her heart melted :)

Ok I've read the other answers here and I know you're getting conflicting views, but I'd say no don't visit her but send her the flowers and get well card. My reasoning? The last thing I'd want when I'm in hospital feeling like sh*t and thinking I look like sh*t is a guy I'm interested in coming to visit me. But, I suppose it depends on your relationship with her already you're the only one here that knows her. I don't think it would be creepy at all she would probably appreciate it a lot and think it's very sweet but as I've said she could be embarrassed.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from there. But I can't help but think that just sending flowers and a card, without actually showing up, will seem too impersonal.

You guys seem to be in a casual point of your friendship. There's a possibility for it escalating into something more, and if you really want it to go that route, then yeah, pay a visit. :) I would suggest maybe a single flower and, as agreed with with ali1217, a cup of coffee or two. It's a small gesture to show that you care without being overwhelming. I say don't ever hesitate doing something sweet and simple for a gal. :)

Yes, there's a high chance of it coming off as creepy... if she's not into you. If a girl doesn't like you, you're creepy by current definitions. If she's into you, bringing her flowers and being genuinely sweet will have her in a hospital bed thinking dirty thoughts about you :D

I would say go visit. But skip a huge arrangement of flowers and a card. Maybe something a little more simple like a couple flowers and a coffee. Its not too much but it shows her you care.

Well it depends, if you take her out for coffee already and have not made a move most likely you are in the friend zone with her, also are you good with women in general or not really, have you had a girlfriend before, if you are not good with women for sure you are in the friend zone.

I've only ever taken her out to coffee twice. I'm pretty good with women in general, but I haven't had a girlfriend because I'm a pretty choosy sort of guy when it comes to these sort of things.

Well if you never had a girlfriend then you are not good with the women that you are attracted too, so you are in the friend zone with this girl, I recommend staying just friends with her and looking for another girl you can choose to be with because that's the best way to attract this girl
