Should I tell my ex I am going on a date?

My boyfriend and I broke up about a week and a half ago...he says he still does not know 100 percent that it's over, and that he has some feelings for me still, but doesn't know what to do with them. We are not talking really...I called him the other day and we talked for bout 20 minutes so he is not ignoring me really...

But I got asked out on a date by a guy who seems really cool and nice...I want to be with my ex, but I am having trouble wanting to wait to see whether he wants me or not. Should I tell him that I am going?

Well you don't have to tell him. this is your private life. if he finds out that you went on a date so soon, that my coutn against you if he would want to reconsider. But at the end of the day , you can go on a million dates , because you're single. It's your decision.
