I dont know if I'm shy or not at this point, all I know is that I could never talk to girl I liked from being shy. If they came and talked to me and were friendly, that was another story.

Best advice, don't be shy lol. I don't know whether a woman likes shy guys or not, 95% of the time she isn't gonna approach you. If you're handsome then 80% of her approaching you. Even though now there are a lot of confident women who approach men first or make the first move, generally most women, they're gonna get shy themselves (if they did possibly like you) or they're just not gonna do it cause "the guy is supposed to do it". Plus women overthink so lol some just aren't brave enough.
Even if you're shy, just try and go for it lol. Women often doubt if someone actually likes them so they won't know you interested unless you say so. Just think of it like this, if you approach 50 girls, you may get rejected a lot but there'll be a couple interested in you too. If you approach none, you ain't getting none lol. So just shoot your shot lolLol the best dating advise I can give you is work on not being shy, I used to be super shy I had social anxiety disorder x10000 like to the point I couldn’t even talk to women, but I spent years and years working on becoming more confident and now I’m actually quite the ladies man, many women say they like shy guys but it’s a lie, I spent many years shy and not a single women found it attractive or endearing in any sort of way, so you got to work on getting rid of that, bassically what I’m saying is being shy is worse than being morbidly obese in the dating world
Build rapport. Ask questions to show interest. Compliment them on their interests.
If they like to go to parks, you'd say "I like how adventurous you are."
Bread and butter questions to ask for later. What cool plans you got for this weekend? How's was your weekend? How was that thing [they mentioned they were going to do]?
Keep building rapport with things you have in common. Even if you are both wearing flannel you point that out.the best advice in my opinion is: stop being shy as an excuse. just do it. you can be shy again after you did that. what do you have to lose besides your virginity? xD
Find out why you're shy in the first place, then work on that issue.
