I can't talk to my crush. I'm too shy. Help please!! Ahh!!

Well I've had a crush on this guy for about 3months (wow that's ages lol) And my friends asked him out for me today at school in front of LOADS OF PEOPLE. Awkward... 0_0 lol

I play the piano at school with some friends, they asked him for me when he walked past the piano and they asked him then and he walked up to me, he said 'hi' and I said 'hi' with total embarrassment.. and I just couldn't stop laughing.

So awkward. lol I am REALLY SHY... I hate it.

My friends said to me 'you should have talked to him' and I said 'I'm too shy'.

And today at dinner I walked past him and looked at him and he SMILED AT ME! And I walked off smiling too.. lol.that's OK, its just TALKING TO HIM that's THE PROBLEM!

I tried to talk to him, but all my words just came out in a big mess and I couldn't help but laugh. :L

So I wondered if anyone could tell me ways to boost my confidence so I can talk to him?.. Or have any ideas that will help me not scramble my words and not look like a total idiot .?

firstly, I'm so embarrassed for you that you just stood there and laughed through every opportunity you got to talk to him. Please try to stop this, laughing at him is not a cover for saying nothing. You might have come across to him as an infatuated girl.. which to be honest, may have scared him off in the other direction. You need to try to start over.. be more confident in yourself instead of shy and giggly. Know what you're going to say the next time you approach him. Breath slowly and talk slower so the words don't come out in a mad rush. Does he know your name? maybe introduce yourself or ask what's his next class. I would also advise telling your friends to stop telling him that you like him. I'm sure he's already got the point and he probably doesn't need constant reminders.
