How do you feel about eye contact and flirting? What does it mean to you?

Personally, when I’m dating or thinking about that specific someone I want to date, I love eye contact because it shows boldness and confidence. But it’s also intimidating and I feel like some guys try to look deeply into my soul. Guys what does eye contact mean to you? There’s this guy I like and I’m sure he likes me but even in the midst of conversation like he’ll continue talking but stare at me or make sure he gives me eye contact which is noticeable because he’s taller. I just wonder what’s going on in his head or why does he stare at me so intensely or I notice sometimes when he flirts with me he’s smiling and sometimes he’s not smiling but he’s always giving me that intense eye contact especially if it’s something sexual. I feel like guys when they’re sexual their eye contact and even faces are very serious and intense. Or even when he makes me laugh he looks mesmerized lol

For me flirting with woman is like a duel. Who will blink first? Who will smile first. And who will get turned on the most. Eyes meet. You try to use your eyebrows. She uses hers. She winks. I, as a boy, find my eyes wandering no matter who i talk to, and often times i have to tell myself to actually focus on the person and make eye contact, but from my perspective its just trying to be as polite and to give you our attention, i can't determine the parts where it might be intimidating or not, i think any long stare at someone can be intimidating
