How do you play hard to get with your boyfriend?

i've been with my boyfriend 26 me 21 for 1.5 years. But now I want my boyfriend to start putting more into the realtionship he has been focusing on work so much in the last 6 months, and we broke up recently he took me back a week later, and I was crushed. I would like him to start chasing me again.

i know my boyfriend would chase me if I play hard to get, that's how I got him. but I don't know how to do that when in a realtionship. I want him to fall back in love with me. his priorities shifted to work, and I think if he see's me as a challenge he will fight for me a little more and fall back in love?

Once you're already in a relationship, playing hard to get won't work. He already has you, so he doesn't need to fight for you anymore. Instead, he will most likely think that you want to break up with him. So, either break up with him or if you really love him and want the situation to change, talk to him about it. That is the only healthy way to go about it. I think... good luck !

i guess I'm being drastic because talking to him doesn't work. he see's his work as such a major prioirty right now he is an extreme case of narrow mindness. I know a lot of guys have hard time balancing, but my guy is really bad at it. because he feels so comfortable and knows I'm honest and won't do anything to hurt him, he doesn't put the effort in. Hence I feel if he think I have lost interest it will puzzle him and he will chase me

Yeah, but you can seriously mess up the relationship if you do anything 'drastic'. You should just talk to him about it seriously, he still knows how to talk, right? Sit him down, face to face, at a restaurant, dinner, and he will have to listen to you. I hope it works out :)

Limit communication with him and occasionally reignite it. Repeat until you feel that he is giving you his full attention again. But be careful not to avoid him for too long or even go as far to flirt with other men. Some guys like the chase, but can get hurt if you toy with their emotions and he may end up dumping you.

i want him to chase me again, I feel I'm doing all the chasing. like I said me and my boyfriend went through a rough patch we worked together and he was a manger I was casual. I just got a new job, and I want him to fall back in love with me.

I think I'm gonna have to go with AmberChick on this one, unless you have a life change and he feels that you are something new and different worth chasing for, pretending to change is not the same as a life change.
