If I'm flirting with a guy and say that he's a "strong guy"... how much do guys like/get turned on by compliments on their physicality? He is a muscular guy so the compliment wasn't incorrect

Don't directly say "you're so strong". Instead, ask to feel his muscles.
"you're so strong" can come across as condescending. But asking to feel his muscles is hard to misinterpret.

Guys love to get complements from girls... and why won't someone like to get complemented.. and to be said as strong well hell yeah like you said he is muscular then he trained his body like hell to get those body curves on his biceps and all... and you admiring his hard work is worth mentioning... so ofcourse he would like it...

What are his interests? If he is a devotee of music or legal matters and your reference is to physical prowess, he may not respond favorably. If he is a rock climbing enthusiast, maybe he will.

Be sure that the strength you are referring to is one he will be pleased you recognize.

Only when you're by yourself, like the two of you, and uppity say it in a really appreciative way lik, "I like that uppity are so strong. It's really nice that...". OR if you are worth a group of friends, and you want to show him off, you could brag about a time that you know of, that maybe no one else does, where you noticed his strength. I don't know that would turn me on if my girl did that, not to mention the satisfaction in knowing my girl thinks I can lift heavy shit and kick ass. SPLOOSH...
So if that makes any sense, we (or I) like being called strong a lot, but it has to be done when he's comfortable with flexing. If the guy you're asking and you are anything like me and my wife are now, then once he takes hold of one of the moments then... you're going to have a very, very satisfying evening.

We like compliments, sure, and we like that one; we don't get "turned on" by compliments. Guys get turned on by seeing hot/pretty girls and by having a girl put our dick in her mouth. Compliments are nice-- they don't "turn us on."
