I have been running into a guy frequently on my college campus, and we have previously met at a friend s parties. Since then, we have been waving/saying hi, and smiling whenever we see each other. We would chat briefly every now and then.

Now, few days ago, he asked me to eat lunch with me when I was eating lunch on my own in the cafeteria. We don t know each other well, so we tried to get to know each other but there were few awkward pauses. He also offered me some of his food ! This also happened again, he asked me if want to join him for lunch, and the conversation was smoother and we laughed more and he talked about things he likes to do, and even stories from childhood.

He is in the class above me, and he had no reason to sit with me because there were other spots, and we barely know each other. Is he just trying to be Friendly

Sounds like you are interested in something, but you have made no reference as to having any kind of deeper level interest in him. I would say the ball is in your court at this point. If you enjoy his company and the conversations you share, but have no interest in a romantic involvement, pls be honest with yourself and him today! Let him know you find yourself enjoying time spent together, but at this time you are not looking for a romantic involvement. If you feel there is some interest on your part I am sure you know how to make that apparent. In today's world ladies do not have to be shy about their feelings. Let him know the time spent is more than enjoyable and you would like to spend more time together, maybe a Saturday walk in a park to be free of the noise at lunch. Just a subtle move forward!

Whenever a guy and a lady strike up a couple of conversations it is normal for both sides to be evaluating where this could lead. Many times great friendships start out like this, other times this could lead to dating. You have questions in your mind and so does he. That is why I said he is, like you, still deciding.

At some point one of you will need to take the lead and honesty ask. Although I do not think time is of the essence. A few more lunches and you will know what your feelings are.

Depends on how many friends he has and how many girls he talks to.. The more the better for your case when it comes to the friends one but the girl one is trickier if i knew how he is i would have helped but i think we both can't answer that.. Now if he has a lot of people he could talk with and quite frankly if you're hot then you definitely should ask him out
