He seems interested, but won't make a move?

So I just exchanged numbers with a guy I work with who seems to be really interested in me. He's shy, so I was the one that made the move and asked for his number. As soon as we did, he texted me 10 minutes later and we've been texting since. He's always asking me the questions to get to know me and I do the same.

Only thing is, he doesn't really flirt with me, but the way he replies it sounds to me he's interested but shy. He even invited me to this party this weekend.

I just don't know what to do. I'm shy myself, so I don't wanna be the one making the move. Especially since I made the move the first time. He's just very hard to read. What should I do?

Breaking out of ones shell is really required and helpful in any situation involved with dating. In order to get to know someone you need to be able to have confidence and nerve to talk to them as one person to another. If he really is interested( which it mostly seems like it, texting you 10 min after exchanging numbers, asking the usual questions of interest), then you may need to open up more. The more you feel confident and comfortable around him, the more he SHOULD, feel the same way back. I'm "dating" a girl who is really shy and quite, its sometimes difficult to make conversation because of this but we have good times because we do talk with one another and get to know one another better with each date. Just remember to be yourself and to flirt with him to help show interest.

I'd totally go to the party and have a good time. Who knows? He might make a move on you and surprise you. Some guys aren't into the flirting thing too. He could be the shy yet romantic type. Keep an open mind and maybe the night might start something.
