Do guys always try to make a girl laugh?

I know guys like making a girl they like laugh, but does it only apply to them? Or do they try to get any girl to laugh?

Ok, so I know a guy who doesn't try too hard to make other people laugh, but he does a lot of stupid stuff to get me to laugh (not always intentionally). Some of them are inside jokes, some are just in the moment--what do you make of that?

Well, humor is important in the social order in the male world. Sure, a lot of guys will try to make everybody laugh, but usually we try harder when it comes to pursuit. It's sort of a subconcious way of welcoming you into our way of life, hopefully you are receptive. Basically if you laugh really hard at what a guy said naturally, he was giving his best.

After watching a lot of guys joke you'll be able to tell a lot about their personality and life from their styles.

For me its any girl I know especially if I know she's sad or has a lot on her mind just helps to take their minds off of their troubles for awhile

That kinda sucks. I'm really not interested in him :\ I get along with him for the most part, but he also irritates me on a level that no one has ever irritated me before.

In that case just stay friends if he ever ask you out or says he wants more then tell him straight out that you don't want a relationship like that with him and would rather stay friends. Just be ready in case he doesn't want to be friends he might come around he might not but its better to be straightforward with him than to let it seem he has a chance.

I'm certainly not a guy, but my understanding is that its not about who they make laugh, its about the style of humour they present. Such as basic humour or inside jokes. That is more the difference, in my opinion.

Honestly I like trying to make anyone laugh, guy or girl. The difference is in how you do it. In general I try to be the "generic funny man" but with a girl a like I like to try to use "inside jokes" that only she and I would get.

well most of the time if they like you and they are nervous they will try to make you laugh because it takes a lot of pressure of the guy. girls you have it easy. most guys are terrified trying to make a relationship out of thin air.

I mostly hang out with chicks. While I do try to make everyone laugh I always make sure "my girl" has the best time.
