How do you know when a girl is flirting or simply being nice?

I try to hold an air of confidence but when I talk specifically to a girl I find attractive I sound like an idiot and I feel like one too because I can't tell if a girl is flirting with me or just being a girl. I never have this problem when flirting with men. It's frustrating. What is the difference? I must be the love guru! 😧

I never can tell what a female's intentions are.

But I do have somewhat of a gaydar. Sometimes I get weird vibes from dudes, so I guess they're probably gay.

I think what it comes down to is men understand men better and women understand women better.

A girl is flirting with you if she hints she would want to hang out or say we do do this, or act to plant activities. She would indirectly want to hang out. Being nice is when she's really friendly around you, but when her friends are nearby she kinda ignores you

yeah it can be really confusing, I'd probably look at other things to see if there's something more there though. like if she's giving you most of her attention, or bends over backwards to make time for you and such
