How can I tell if a girl is being friendly or flirty?

I have a hard time telling the difference between those two.

Some stuff a few girls have done to me:

1. Years ago, one of them put her foot on my knee under the table. I couldn’t tell if it was an accident but I think it wasn’t because she kept it there for a bit before I moved.

2. Another girl who I just know by her face always looked at me, waited for me to look at her, and then she held eye contact for a bit before looking down. She did that a lot. I thought it was a sign so I said hi to her and she said hi too. I did most of the talking though so I thought she wasn’t interested.

3. Now another girl, she always asks me why I get shy around her, and has also asked me if I’m single/have a girlfriend. She has touched me too, both on my arm and on my torso but I can not tell if she is just making small talk by asking those questions and being friendly by touching me on my torso, or if she is interested.

I can say, for my personal experience, some girls like to tease guys for self pleasure. If you’re shy or you keep your emotions shielded into you, they stimulate you with some provocation… Id example by touching hair, putting legs on womb, or tickle you with long hair, or stare you intensely. They may be flirty in a sincere way but they also can only want to tease since provoking a reaction in someone means to have power on that person.
Aside from that, some occasions can be also true interest, the ones you listed seemed there was some interest from each girl (or they were only teasing). Maybe the second was only friendly or maybe was staring because she was interested at first but she changed idea after you talked.
I mean… I said a lot of time maybe, since it’s always difficult to say why a girl acts a certain way.

Tbh i have never seen someone ask another person if they have a girlfriend without having any motive behind that. I can understand very good friends. Maybe I’m wrong I don't know.

I think she’s at least a little interested
