Guys always say they are surprised I'm single

They always say that then say I won't be single for long.. But I've been single for a while now.. If guys think I'm a catch why am I single?

Well not including flings, I've been single for a while too. For me it's just because it's rare for me to find an exceptional female, maybe you're in the same boat too? As in, you have standards and that's a good thing. Although sometimes it means you may go through little droughts but it'll rain and when it does, it'll be worth it l)

Maybe because they think you're really pretty and then they assume "how is a girl like THAT possibly single?"

I would partly agree with doctorwhofan23 in that maybe there is an intimidation factor? Maybe they assume that you have a boyfriend and don't want to interfere? Personally, I prefer to get to know a girl some before I ask her out, so that way it's "problem solved" lol.

well for me I say that its suppriseing there single since I think there cute I don't ask them out since they useualy take tht as a complament and nothing more find out if they like you if so then ask you out but also some guys say that so they can have a one night stand with you or something so be carefull

haha I understand how you feel. I'm in the same boat. I am nice, outgoing and wouldn't hurt anyone approaching me. But guys have this preconceived idea that if you're pretty, well-cultured, have guys around you, intelligent, etc... that you'll be very hard to be approached. *sigh* I'm still single too.
