When, you get lunch with a friend what's the best way to know that she sees you more than a friend? How do you give her hints that you want more?

When I have lunch with my friends... that's all there is, we're friends and it is lunch. I've known them for years and I know them well, but these are my friends.

But if you refer to someone that you just met recently and you've been "friendly" with them and you also have intentions of your own... and maybe hoping/expecting that more will happen, I would not that call a friendship...

Anyway, it happens... what I've seen or noticed from girls that were into me, besides the obvious flirty or playful approaches which I assume, they're very obvious to you as well... there might be other signs, for example... they're asking if you're seeing someone else, if you're into someone, stuff like that. Some even ask if you have a girlfriend right away. Others will take any chance to speak or to go out with you, they just want to be there with you because they do like you.

Another thing is, don't wait for signs... make some moves, you could very well ask them if they're seeing others or interested on something, like dating with the intent of that.

"Let's just say something may happen soon" No idea what that means, but it is unclear... don't be that way, don't wait for signs don't throw hints... just try to be more assertive this time, communicate effectively about your intentions if you have them WITHOUT being creepy or way way too forward, if you're interested on her for something more then just be honest with her and she might respond positively.

At lunch tell her straight out you like her and if she’s into you too you’d love to see where things go. You’ve already got a lunch date (or dinner date) so there’s a decent chance she likes you. You may get rejected but you’ll never know unless you try. And at this point directly (and confidently) asking her is better than beating around the bush looking for clues.
