Chick fil a employees are trained to pick out the guys who think they are flirting with them when they take the order. Then they go back and they all get together while preparing your meal and talk about how fitting it is that you are there ordering chicken because since you have no clue that they are creating a welcoming atmosphere, surely the chicken that they are preparing for you was being choked by you an hour or two before you sat down..

In my experience with Chic-fil-a, the wait persons are more friendly and chatty than are the staff of most other establishments. I think they are trained to be that way; it goes along with the general corporate culture.
