Why is he trying to get closer to me?

I work with a guy who I small talk with. I watch how he interacts with other coworkers and it’s normal. With me he’ll initiate if we’re in the same area and we’re around the same age. He’ll always touch his hair while we’re talking or if I’m nearby. Sometimes we don’t talk and he’ll go to another area in the store to interact with customers. Yesterday he was standing nearby and looked like he really wanted to talk to me. I told him I was burning up and there’s this fan that we were sharing and he offered to move it or for me to come closer. He got close and he did. One time we were talking and I told him my career goal because we’re both in college and he said I’d be great at it because of the way I spoke. Today he asked me what was my favorite burger place and if I knew any good ones in the area. He asked me what was my favorite way to get a burger and what do I put on it because he was thinking about ordering some after work. He said he didn’t put a lot of toppings because it cost extra lol. Today he came up to me and said hey and everything and I asked him if he got pizza and he said yes and told me which place he went to. I told him I wanted pizza no and he said I should treat myself. I catch him staring at me sometimes was he trying to ask me out?

He very well could be but unfortunately I'm not there so I can't say fore sure. If he's bothering you tell him or a manager/owner. If your interested in him maybe try to inesate with him things might go somewhere.
