Eye contact, conversation , what’s next is my dilemma?

I approached after 2 days of staring at each other today I gathered all my courage asked her for her notes (dumb ik, am cringing now) and she said ok and we spoke for a while, we go by same can to our respective hostel and in studying in same college. When I spoke with her her friend was also beside her and my van mates were there too yk (pretty embarrassing ik). Now what should I do after she gives me her notes what topic should I talk about then, this is not my area of expertise I want to know what’s next?

Pick a conversational topic (maybe the class the notes are about, maybe something campus-related? Having a backup topic or two if the first runs dry isn't a bad idea) and talk- if the conversation leads to a good place, keep it going.

I am a medico (1st year) so basically everything related to studies 🥲. I play musical instruments, I cook and currently working on a novel…😅

That is an impressive set of tools you have in your locker. One point to make.. You're writing a novel so you should be able to merely look at her and find the right words for any occasion necessary.
