Girls, Can a girl still be interested in you, and yet not ask questions about you?

If she’s not curious about you to you in person, she might not be interested in you.
But if you hear that she’s asking other people about you, and being curious about you to others, trying to get info on you behind your back..
She might be extremely, beyond shy.
