During a flirty conversation, he said you like being told what to do. I joked and said yes I do. He responded with good thing I am bossy then. I know it’s flirting but why would a guy flirt this boldly but not make a move or ask me out?

That makes no sense at all. I would have definitely told you what we would be doing on our first date. I’m not “bossy” but I do not wait around either. If one does not grab life and take sometimes…one misses out.
