I kindly tell them that I am uninterested, I don't have to be rude and I don't have to just ignore the person because that only makes an individual be more persistent
No need to be rude and there's nothing wrong with meeting someone new and having a good conversation. You might find something about them fun. If not.. and they're just a complete dud... Then you just take a quick phone call outside and relocate.
Very very rarely do people flirt with me. But when it does happen and its unwanted, just a simple "I'm not interested" will do and I leave it at that. If they persist then I get cranky.
I will engage with them, but will politely let them know I am taken.

Ignore their flirting and keep it friendly on my part. Sometimes if they'd flirt now and then for a longer period I had a conversation saying directly I am not interested in that way.
I wouldn't even notice. I honestly never developed my senses around romantic relationships. I'm numb to it. The only time I ever felt something in that sphere, was trough a LDR.
Make them think I am interested, and see how far they will go. If I'm horny enough, I'll see what she might do about it? Maybe I'll enjoy the night anyway?
Flirt back and lower your standards. Could be the universe doesn't care about your pathetic list of qualifications and is just introducing you to your soulmate.

I act polite but dry with them and if they don’t get the hint then I turn rude. No means no.

Assuming that I actually notice that they are flirting, I'd just pretend not to notice that they are.

I don’t even know what flirting is lol so I guess I’ve never flirted with a girl my entire life
Tell her I'm not interested. I am not mean, but I am unambiguous and to the point.

I usually only realize someone's flirting with me about ten minutes after the conversation ended.
awkwardly laugh and hope to god they can take a hint
This question assumes that I notice their flirting in the first place. I just figure it as them being nice.
I'd be kind to them but will sign that I'm not into them. I did the mean thing before and no it's not the way to go

I just nip it in the bud and politely tell them I’m not interested.
Just let it happen but don't reciprocate. The reactions are going to be different from when it's done to a girl vs done to a guy though
I asked them why they’re talking to me. But it really depends on how their approaches when they flirt with me that can dictate how I respond
Usually I tell them I'm not interested or simply ignore them.
I'd politely turn them down. If they still don't stop either ignore them or tell them back off.
