How do I tell the difference between friendly and flirty?

The pride parade was mentioned to me by a lass at work and I wasn't sure how to interpret that. Over the next couple weeks we seemed to see each other a lot and make a lot of eye contact. She would ask me to stay late at work and clean. She is always very polite and will call people out. What signs can I look for?

I’d say wait for clearer signs. One of my best friends has been lesbian since high school and one of her biggest eye rolls are women mistaking her kindness for flirtation. The things you mentioned her me are similar to what she general does, like just making conversation, being fond of a person and asking them questions, especially about Pride because she never misses a parade. But she’s often disappointed because the girl she thought she was making a good friend of misinterpreted her attention. So I’m not telling you this to say this girl doesn’t like you, we are not in her head. But these things listed don’t seem like big enough signs.

Mentioning the Pride parade probably means she’s LGBTQ. It doesn’t necessarily mean she’s interested in you that way.

She does a lot of smiling usually. I don't know about hair tossing but she knows I don't like to be touched if I'm not familiar with them that way
