No conversational skills, how to talk to guys?

I have bad social skills talking to guys and I tend to just get agressive because I’m always worried they’ll hate me and I’ll be the idiot if I don’t. Obviously this is just shooting my self in the foot so how can I learn to actually hold conversation and not freak out?

I can only imagine how you must be feeling. I am guessing you have Aspergers or some other form of High-Functioning Autism? If so you're not alone I have A. D. D and an undergraduate degree in Psychology. I use to be super shy but have slowly grown accustom to working through my feelings of anxiety and nervousness especially when talking to someone new.
It may be best to practice holding a conversation with someone online or a male friend in reality.
Ideally Ideally someone want someone who is not a potential dating partner but someone whom can offer you feedback in a hypothetical dating scenario.

I'm my experience people like to talk about themselves. Get them talking about stories, events, and personal hobbies. Mentally note what they seem particularly interested in and ask questions that expand into further stories and conversation. Repeat as needed.

Also seek out conversations with guys. The more conversations you have the less tense and self conscious you will become. Think of it like riding a bike, first time your worried and stiff in response. After a couple a months you barely have to think about what your doing.

Go at your own pace, there are guys out there for you! No point trying to hard, flirting is meant to be fun. It you feel like its difficult then its just the wrong guy for you. I would suggest starting with a quiet guy to gauge your own social skills and carry the conversation at your pace. And the more you do it the more you won't care as much. Have fun is all it is

Keep the convo light hearted and try not to get in your head to much! Think simple and light hearted. We are usually happy to just have a girl come up and wanna talk to us so we are focused to much on not saying or doing something stupid, so we won't be paying close attention if you are nervous or what not and besides its kinda cute haha. Give him a compliment on his appereance, style, looks or anything really and he will be happy and would love to talk more with you. Give him shit and joke around with him too! A girl i can chill and joke with is attractive regardless of looks! Hope this helps!

Talk to them like you would any other friend but add a little banter. It shows that you can be fun to be around not just someone who might be fun to bang around with.

Try having your conversations for a reason. Not just random stuff, until they become close friends.
