How to ask my crush about what others said about us?

I have a crush on a co-worker and we get along pretty well.
So well that I get asked multiple times by other female co-workers if we are a couple or what's going on between us.

Now I never talked to my crush about that but knowing my other co-workers, there is a high chance that they asked him too.

Now I wanna ask him in a kinda flirty/ coolish way if anyone asked him what we are and tell him that others think we are dating.
The reason why I thought of asking is to bring the topic of "dating each other" out there.

How could I ask him and should I ask him?

We are both in our 20s and will both leave that job soon.
