Let's say I used to call her "xyz". After our breakup she occasionally flirts. Just recently I mentioned that I need to eat something as I was feeling hungry, she replied: "eat xyz"

Is it just fun and harmless flirting or she still has feelings for me. Don't advice to ask her. We have been good friends since breakup and don't wanna ruin it with my assumptions.

My ex also still calls me by the nickname he gave me in our relationship, we dated for almost 6 years so it become sort of a habit. I think it’s probably the same with her, especially since the two of you are still friends with each other. Back then I used to slip up and call my ex “babe” out of habit but it didn’t mean anything.

lol I do flirt, very subtly, but then there are days where she just disappears. I feel like may be I crossed a line but then I realize, how did I cross a line if it is ok for her to flirt and not myself. Anyway, I never stopped having feelings for her, I still care for her a lot. I just hope that she would stop giving these mixed signals because I am stuck between her and some other option out there (false hopes I guess).

She might be feeling the same way, maybe she’s scared that she might be making assumptions about you still having feelings for her. Maybe just full on flirt with her the next time and ask her to come over or something lol
