It takes a little confidence. But the fact you approach shows at least that. And as long as you are polite they won’t be mean. It may hurt a little but at the time. But if it’s someone that isn’t willing to get to know you then there will be someone who is. Rejection is a part of living it’s not an only you specific problem. And just like in bench press the more reps the stronger you become at the goal you are trying to accomplish. A “NO” is not he end of the world. Cuz if you look the other way their will be another woman that might not. And actually may have seen that and felt some empathy. And then they may approach you. If you are worried about rejection, then don’t be alone. so you have friends you can go join. Nothing will make you feel lonelier than being rejected alone.

join a club or society that has women there so you will have a non creepy reason to talk to them. And if you go to a club that you are interested in then you already have something in common with the girl. at the club just ask can I join your group I'm new...
