Does she know you like her in that sort of way? I would only assume so if you are talking that much long distance. So long as she doesn’t have a boyfriend or involved in a relationship, then I don’t see the issue flirting.

I do agree with you however that it is awkward to flirt through text, email or social media. It just isn’t natural. That is purely my opinion and others will say otherwise. My best advice is to figure out if she is into you in the same way you are into her.

Otherwise, two things might happen. One, you may scare her off by getting flirty, especially if it comes off as sexual. Two, you are going to get inside you own head with worry if she doesn’t respond quickly or the way that you expected.

I’d be certain that she has the same sort of feelings you do for her before flirting. How to go about doing that? That is tough considering you are long distance. However, I would be willing to be she has some interest if she has agreed to meet you face to face, as you indicated.

What I would do if I were you is try to set up a face to face meeting either as an official date or as an opportunity to ask her out on a date.
