I have plenty of romance in my life, and have for almost 22 years if you count dating him :-). I can see how it may be hard in the current culture, for men to do what they feel like is romantic or chivalrous. I don’t have a very good understanding of why this is frowned upon anymore. Feel free to reply to this if you’d like, but I have no real need for that information because I’ve got a good well balanced romantic relationship with my husband and I doubt that ever changes.

I agree, although in some instances the chivalrous behavior may in fact come with expectations,. I blame both sexes to some degree for this occurrence.

Modern feminism is definitely an opponent of traditional romance. Traditional romance is sexist to its core; all about traditional gender roles. But romance doesn’t need to be just that. In fact, as an egalitarian, i absolutely believe that women should be putting every bit as much time, energy and money into showing their fellas that they are wanted, loved and appreciated. Traditional romance definitely didn’t offer that. We’re long overdue for a change.

There is no question that feminism has been very harmful to romance and gender relations. I don't think anyone with a brain would dispute that. The good news is there are good non-feminist women out there. You just need to avoid any woman who identifies as a feminist or supports the movement and you'll be fine.

I understand what you stay asking. After going out on two dates, I felt more comfortable with my date that I began to be romantic. As soon as I did, she ghosted me.


And I’m just here like… good thing I didn’t get to the point where I wrote her a poem because I was about to do that. At the end of the day, the right woman will respond and one that will truly appreciate my efforts.

modern 3rd and 4th wave feminism ruined most romance and chivalry. because they claim most traditional male behavior is toxic. resulting in many men walking away from long term relationships.

so smart men don't make long term partners out of modern 3rd or 4th wave feminists. they are only use them for short term flings or hookups if anything.

although this is also causing an increase number of women to be alone and childless or single mothers as they get older.
