Guys, Your choice of song carries a message?

You are in the car with a girl you have been friends with for over a year. You probably suspect she likes you and you probably like her too as you enjoy winding her up and teasing her. You laugh at what she says and she laughs at what you say. She asks you to play music... you choose a romantic song. to be more precise, the song is about how a girl makes a guy feel and he wishes she told him she loved him.

You carry on playing songs and most of them with similar sentiment. Is the choice of song intentional? Does it carry a message or do you just like it? Are you trying to let her know how you feel? is she reading too much into this?

Note: the girl has in the past shared songs with him with the intention to tell him how she feels but does he know that? did he get the message?
