Why do a lot of women next a guy if he doesn't respond to her weird attempt at flirting?

Most women aren't direct when it comes to flirting and often expect men to pick up on their attempts. Some examples include a girl smiling at you from a distance in a crowded area, walking past you on multiple occasions, pretending she needs your help in order to start a conversation and compliment a guy on something. However, very rarely would a woman just go up and just ask a guy out on a date, start a conversation with something sexual or even initiate physical touching.

And from what I've seen on social media, if a guy does not pick up on a girl's attempts at "flirting" then most women will straight up next him for not taking his shots. Keep in mind that a guy may not even be aware that a girl is flirting until he replays the moment like 2-3 months or even years later and it finally hits him that this girl liked him.

So my question is this. Why do women choose to next a guys rather than not being more direct and honest if a guy isn't picking up on her flirting?

Ego. Same reason why women loathe dating apps. Because they can't hide why they're there. Women have tremendous yet very fragile ego's. Women consider just smiling at a guy as a flirt. And if he doesn't come over and talk to her just based on that she takes as rejection. Imagine if guys got a 10th of that butthurt about something so innocuous.🤣🤣🤣

I don’t worry about anymore. One is going to come along and appreciate that I’m gentle but clear in thought and deed…or not. Can’t speak cogently and somewhat serious then flirt your Time away somewhere else. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Just me…
