I have a slight crush on a coworker, I'm always professional. Every time we see eachother at work he has this big grin on his face. Only one time he lingered and talked to me in-between his appointments.

Hard to tell from this information. Some people smile every time they meet someone at the kitchen, especially those who work with other people, businessmen etc. It is part of their job, sort of.

While others, those who are more introverted, a smile might mean a lot more special.
